The City of Yakima / Yakima County Purchasing Division invites qualified bidders that are interested in our current contracting opportunities to submit bid/proposals for our projects that are currently out to bid.  All bid solicitations are advertised in the Yakima Herald-Republic, the City and County's official legal publication, and on this website.

The City/County Purchasing Division posts all Bids and Proposals on this website.  The bid specifications may be downloaded and printed for your use.  We do not accept electronic responses, so vendors will need to, at a minimum, download and print the official forms included in the bid solicitation document and mail/deliver per the instructions inside each solicitation.  In some solicitations, large technical drawing or blueprints may be available in hardcopy format.  If applicable, such information will be provided in the specific bid solicitation document.

DOCUMENT REVISIONS

Please note that revisions to a bid solicitation document may be issued by the City/County Purchasing Division after the solicitation was initially published.  Your bid or proposal response could be rejected if you fail to acknowledge any  issued amendments and/or if you fail to submit your bid or proposal based on any published revisions to the original specification or submittal instructions.  You are advised to return to this website on a regular basis to monitor for notices of revisions that affect previously published bid solicitation documents.

ADDENDUM REGISTRATION

To receive notification from the City/County Purchasing Division regarding potential amendments or other updates to the original bid solicitation documents, prospective bidders/proposers MUST request to be registered for EACH bid solicitation of interest.  To register, contact sknotts@ci.yakima.wa.us and ask to be registered for a particular bid/proposal.

If you fail to register and/or provide required information, you will not be notified of possible amendments or updates.  In the absence of valid registration, the City/County Purchasing Division shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible or liable for guaranteeing that such amendments and/or updates will be made available to you by other means.  You are directed to periodically visit this website to obtain current information.

VENDOR RESPONSES

Vendors shall not change the original boilerplate and/or specifications of any related documents in any manner, or your bid may be rejected.
