and quality of life. Economic development depends on the ability
to respond to transportation needs. Street construction projects
and funding options are critical community issues. Future
Transportation choices are being discussed and your thoughts

Identification of existing
street and intersection needs within the Yakima Urban
Area are illustrated on two posters. These posters provide
background information for public meetings related to
the update of the Yakima Urban Area Transportation Plan.
Open public meetings and hearings are scheduled for
the fall and winter of 2003-2004.
