BIOGRAPHY
Bill Lover, originally from Detroit Michigan, I relocated to Washington State in 1962. I am 65 years old and have lived in Yakima for 25 years. I've been married to my wife Cheryll for 39 years, and we have five adult children. I am a graduate of YVC & Central Washington University; I served 23 years in the military, and am a Viet Nam veteran (USMC & USAF). I am also retired from the Boeing Company, and I believe my many years as a quality assurance manager has taught me, that when establishing policy and making difficult decisions, it's critical thinking skills, and the ability to ask the tough questions that's important. I hope to extend this type of attitude and thinking to our City's Economic, Health & Safety, Growth Management, and Fiscal Policies.
