Section 109.7 of the Uniform Building Code as adopted and maintained by the state Building Code Council is amended to read as follows:

109.7 Public Nuisance. It is a public nuisance to use or occupy a building or structure, or any part thereof, of the groups enumerated in Section 109 without there having been issued a valid Certificate of Occupancy for such building, structure or part thereof. Such public nuisance shall be subject to prevention or abatement by injunction or other appropriate legal remedy in the Superior Court of Washington in Yakima County. (Ord. 2001-24 § 8, 2001).
